Elegant cufflinks with dramatic, swirling scrolls. The sweeping, sharp-edged curves are a particularly striking example of Art Nouveau design perhaps influenced by the dramatic lines of the German Jugendstil. Crafted in 10kt gold, circa 1900.
 The cufflinks are well crafted. The oval tops are secured to bean-shape backs with sturdy curved bridges. The curve and split of the bridges help assure the cufflinks stay properly oriented of the cuff.
 The split bridges are stamped "10k" for the purity of the gold and with an unidentified makers mark, a small heart.
