Carrington Moss Agate CufflinksMoss Agate! |
Mesmerizing moss agates set in golden laurel wreathes. The moss agates swirl with a tangle of green inclusions reminiscent of seaweed floating through filtered sunlight along the ocean floor. The agates are held in gold bezels engraved with stylized laurel leaves and berries. Created by Carrington and Co. in 14kt gold, circa 1910.
The backs of the cufflinks are as beautifully crafted as the fronts. The moss agates are set in handcrafted bezels and protected by sturdy cross members. Sturdy cross bars, links and tapered brackets secure the cufflinks on the cuff.
The maker's mark of Carrington & Company (a squared "C"
enclosing "14") is stamped on the crossbars.
