Sparkling diamonds, brilliant platinum and black Onyx are undeniably elegant. These beautiful Carrington cufflinks feature eight-sided Onyx tops with diamond centers and ornately engraved platinum borders. Truly "Putting on the Ritz"! Crafted in platinum and 14kt gold, circa 1920.
 As with all fine jewels, you should closely examine cufflinks from every direction. These cufflinks are beautifully constructed with 14kt yellow gold backs, strong cross bars and sturdy brackets. The yellow gold backs are polished to a mirror-like finish (please excuse the reflections from my camera). The cufflinks are stamped on the reverse with the maker's mark of Carrington & Company and "GOLD&PLAT" for the precious metals.
 The Carrington maker's mark is a "C" surrounding "14" for the purity of the gold. Carrington was a maker of fine cufflinks and dress sets from 1900 to 1950. Based in Newark, New Jersey, Carrington supplied beautiful 14kt and 18kt gold cufflinks to the finest jewelers of the day. Name: Onyx and Diamonds!
