Antique Platinum and Gold CufflinksDurand Platinum and Gold! |
Elegant cufflinks crafted in platinum and gold, circa 1910. The yellow gold centers are richly engraved with a repeated chevron pattern. The centers are framed with platinum ovals and yellow gold edges with flowing acanthus leaf motifs. These elegant cufflinks were created by Durand & Company, a maker of fine cufflinks during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
The backs of the cufflinks are crafted in 14kt yellow gold and polished to a bright finish. Note the specially designed brackets and cross bars that secure these links to your cuffs. This bracket and cross bar design was patented in 1908. To the left of the gold mark ("14 K") is a stylized "D", the maker's mark for Durand & Company.
