Platinum and Diamond CufflinksPlatinum Elegance |
There is an innate elegance to platinum paired
with diamonds. The mesmerizing, soft sheen of the platinum
plays beautifully with the limpid sparkle of the diamonds.
These elegantly engraved cufflinks with diamonds set on one side
were created by Charles Keller & Co. in 14kt gold and
platinum circa 1920.
The backs of the cufflinks are crafted in 14kt and polished to a bright finish. Sturdy cross bars and fleur-de-lys or trifid brackets (a bracket design favored by Charles Keller) secure these cufflinks on the cuff.
The cross bars are stamped with the maker's mark of Charles Keller & Company (an elongated "C" surrounding "14" followed by "K"). The firm created fine cufflinks in platinum and gold from about 1885 to the early Art Deco period.
