Engraved Gold and Enamel CufflinksBlack and Gold! |
Richly engraved tops surrounded by black enamel borders are featured in these handsome cufflinks that bespeak the unexcelled elegance and style of the 1920s. These cufflinks are truly "the bee's knees", "the cat's pajamas" and "the eel's elbow." Beautifully crafted in 14kt gold, circa 1925.
These cufflinks are well constructed with sturdy brackets and strong linked cross bars. In the photo below you can see the thickness of the tops. These elegant cufflinks will easily last another 100 years.
The cross bars are stamped with the hallmark for Wordley, Allsopp and Bliss ("WAB"), a maker of fine jewelry and cufflinks during the early decades of the last century. The opposite side of the cross bar is stamped with the precious metal mark for 14kt gold ("14K").
Name: Black and Gold! Cufflinks are often wonderful reflections of the styles and tastes of their time. |
