Hans Brassler StickpinPeridot and Octagon |
A wreath of interlaced scrolls frames a vibrant
green peridot. The peridot is set in a sturdy bezel
setting with a milgrained edge. This elegant stickpin was
created by Hans Brassler in 14kt gold, circa 1910.
Hans Brassler was a virtuoso jeweler/artist who in the early 1900s created wonderfully imaginative miniature works of art. His jewelry reflects a willingness to draw inspiration from myriad design sources (Classical, Medieval, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, among others) and to create original jewels that are uniquely his own. This stickpin is finely crafted in 14kt gold with a sturdy gold pin stem. (see photo below) The maker's mark of the Brassler workshop (an oval enclosing "14B") is stamped on the side of the upper pin stem. Cost: Although this elegant stickpin has sold, you will find many more fine stickpins in the Antique Stickpin Gallery. |
