Elegant Pinstripe Cufflinks

Carrington Pinstripes

The simple elegance of finely engraved pinstripes on polished gold.  The canted-corner shape adds to the appeal of the Art Deco design.  These elegant cufflinks were finely crafted by Carrington & Co. in 14kt gold circa 1925.

The backs of these cufflinks are as beautifully crafted as the fronts.  Carrington & Company's attention to small details can be seen in the evenness of the finish and the sturdy cross bars and brackets which secure these links on the cuff.

The Carrington maker's mark (an angular "C" enclosing "14") is stamped on the reverse of the cufflinks below the brackets.  In the late 1890s Charles Lewis Carrington founded the firm which created some of the finest cufflinks and dress sets of the early 20th century.  The firm's gold and platinum accessories were retailed at Tiffany & Co. and other carriage-trade jewelers of the day.
