Radiant Suns!

Swirling golden pinwheels beautifully sculpted in 14kt gold.  The striking design is evocative of warm, golden rays radiating from the sun.  Created by Durand & Company, circa 1910.

The backs of the cufflinks are as beautifully crafted as the fronts.  The sturdy brackets and cross bars that secure these links on the cuff were specially designed by Durand & Co. and patented in 1908.  Durand was one of the cufflinks makers of the early 1900s that took exceptional care with the smallest of details.

The reverse of the cufflinks are stamped with the maker's mark of Durand & Co. - a stylized horseshoe crossed by a farrier's nail to create the letter "D".  To the right of the maker's mark is the gold purity mark ("14K").

Measurements:  These 14kt gold cufflinks measure  3/4" by just under 9/16".  They weigh a total of 12.3 grams.
