Elegant cufflinks with beautiful tiger eyes set in finely crafted yellow gold. The domed tiger eyes, an alluring variety of quartz, feature rich brown edges shading to glowing, honey yellow "eyes." Created by George O. Street & Sons in 14kt gold, circa 1940.
 A fine cufflink is beautiful from every direction. The backs of these cufflinks are well crafted in 14kt yellow gold and polished to a bright finish (please excuse the dark reflections from my camera). The links are secured on the cuff with sturdy cross bars and strong brackets.
 These cufflinks were created by George O. Street & Sons, makers of fine cufflinks and other jewels from 1837 to about 1950. The firm was known for the exceptional design and craftsmanship of its jewels. The maker's mark of the firm - an "S" in an oval flanked by a "1" and "4" for the purity of the gold - is stamped on the reverse of the cufflinks.
