Art Deco CufflinksHoneycomb |
Interlocking hexagons above a background of
fine engraved lines gives these cufflinks a jazzy pizzazz.
An beautiful, energetic example of the elegant geometry of Art
Deco design. Created by Charles Keller & Company in
10kt gold circa 1925.
The backs of the cufflinks are finely crafted. Note the sturdy curved cross bars and rounded brackets that secure these cufflinks on the cuff. The edges of the cufflinks, brackets and crossbars have been gently rounded to ease their passage through a button hole.
The cross bars are stamped with the maker's mark of Charles Keller & Company - an elongated "C" surrounding a "10" (for the purity of the gold) followed by a "K". The top of the "C" and "K" are partially obscured by the rounded edge of the crossbar. Charles Keller was a maker of fine gold cufflinks during the late 1800s into the early 1930s. Name: Honeycomb
