Art Deco Diamond CufflinksArt Deco Dazzle II |
Art Deco cufflinks with alternating panels of tiered steps and elongated flowers morphing into the double-wings of dragon flies decorating the border. In the center a finely engraved floral design is framed with a milgrained circular edge. One side is set with a small diamond. These elegant cufflinks sparkle with the jazzy pizzazz of the 1920s. Crafted in 10kt white gold, circa 1925.
The backs of the cufflinks are well crafted with a finely polished, mirror-like surface - the darker areas are reflections from the camera. Please note the sturdy brackets and crossbars that secure these cufflinks on the cuff. The quality of a vintage pair of cufflinks or other jewel is often best seen by carefully examining the reverse. The crossbars are stamped with the maker's mark of Charles Keller & Company - an elongated "C" surrounding a "10" for the purity of the gold followed by a "K". Charles Keller was a maker of fine gold and platinum cufflinks from the late 1800s to the early 1930s.
