Green Chalcedony CufflinksArt Deco Green |
Vibrant, bold colors were one of the of the
hallmarks of the Art Deco era. These colorful cufflinks
feature bright green chalcedonies (a fine grained variety of
quartz) framed with yellow gold. The two colors play
beautifully against each other. Created by Charles Keller
& Co. in 14kt gold circa 1925. The backs of the cufflinks are finely crafted with polished gold surfaces and rounded edges easing the passage of the cufflinks through a buttonhole. The distinctive brackets with trifid ("three-toed") ends was a design favored by Charles Keller. The cross bars are stamped with the maker's mark of Charles Keller - an elongated "C" enclosing "14" (for the purity of the gold) and followed by a "K". Charles Keller was a maker of elegant cufflinks and other jewels from the late 19th century into the early 1930s. Name: Art Deco Green |
