Elegantly Monogrammed Cufflinks

An elegant "N" in a rectangular cartouche accented with lively scrolls.  The sedate linear centers contrast beautifully with the brightly engraved scroll borders.  A nice example of the exuberant cufflink designs of the 1920s.  Crafted in 14kt gold, circa 1925.

The cufflinks are well constructed.  Sturdy cross bars and brackets secure the links on the cuff.  The center of the cross bars are stamped "14K" for the purity of the gold. The gold backs are polished to a mirror-like finish.  (Please excuse the dark reflections and shadows from my camera.)
