Onyx and Gold CufflinksOnyx Geometry! |
Late Victorian cufflinks with velvety black onyx set in antique yellow gold. One end is a disk and the other an elongated rectangle. If you are feeling traditional, the onyx disk can be worn on the outer cuff: if not, the elongated rectangle is a striking cuff accent. Crafted in onyx and 14kt gold, circa 1900.
The cufflinks are well crafted with solid gold backs that secure and protect the onyx pieces. On the cuff the cufflinks are secured with sturdy "S" bridges and ring brackets. There is something to be said for the elegant way cufflinks were once made.
The backs of the cufflinks are stamped "14K" for the purity of the gold
and with an unidentified maker's mark, an elongated "O" inside a lozenge (diamond shape). Name: Onyx Geometry
