Art Deco Cufflinks![]() Pond Ripples |
| Finely engraved centers with an intricate
ripple pattern surrounded by borders of stylized water lilies
and waving grasses. The design brings to mind a gentle
breeze chasing ripples across a quiet pond on an idyllic spring
day! A beautiful example of the richly detailed cufflinks
favored during the early Art Deco period. Created by
Heidell & Trow in 14kt white and yellow gold circa 1925.
![]() The backs of the cufflinks were finely crafted with 14kt yellow gold polished to a smooth, even finish. On the cuff the cufflinks are secured with sturdy cross bars and strap brackets featuring the guttered edges favored by Heidell & Trow. Please excuse the shadowy reflections of my camera in the bright gold.
![]() The cross bars are stamped with the maker's mark of Heidell & Trow - a "T" above an "H". Heidell & Trow created elegant cufflinks during the Art Deco period. The firm's cufflinks were often decorated with richly engraved designs. Beneath the maker's mark "14" is stamped for the purity of the gold.
