Victorian Masonic cufflinks crafted in 14kt gold. (J6505)

Victorian Masonic!

The Victorians were joiners.  They participated in an almost endless variety of fraternal societies,  social clubs and trade organizations.  Often membership was celebrated with a distinctive pair of cufflinks.

This elegant pair of Victorian Masonic cufflinks is beautifully crafted in 14kt gold.  Circa 1880.

The cufflinks are well constructed with sturdy cross-bars.  You would expect nothing less of jewels worn by a member of the Masons.

The cross-bars are marked with the purity of the gold ("14K") and the maker's mark,  a flower perhaps a rose.  We have not been able to identify the maker.
