Antique Gold CufflinksElegant Jazz II |
Elegant two-tone cufflinks from the golden age of jazz. The yellow gold centers are intricately engraved with classic swag and star burst motifs. The contrasting white gold borders feature a bold geometric design. Crafted in 14kt gold, circa 1920.
The backs are crafted in 14kt yellow gold and polished to a mirror-like finish. The cufflinks are well constructed with sturdy cross bars and four-footed brackets. The reverse of the cufflinks are engraved with the name ("H.O. Miller") of the original owner during the 1920s.
The cross bars are stamped with the hallmark for Wordley, Allsopp and Bliss ("WAB"), a maker of fine jewelry and cufflinks during the early decades of the last century. Beneath the maker's hallmark is the precious metal mark for 14kt gold ("14K").
