Elegant cufflinks with ornate platinum borders surrounding intricately engraved yellow gold centers. The two-tone look of platinum and yellow gold gives these stylish cufflinks a wonderful pizzazz. Crafted in platinum and 14kt gold, circa 1920.
 As with all fine jewels, you should examine the backs of cufflinks closely. The backs of these cufflinks are beautifully crafted in 14kt yellow gold. Note the maker's attention to detail in the sturdy brackets and cross bars that secure the links.
 These cufflinks were created Carter, Gough & Company, a maker of fine gold and platinum jewels during the first decades of the last century. The maker's mark for Carter, Gough - an arrowhead surrounding a small "C" - is visible just to the right of the precious metal mark "14K - PLAT" on the back of each link.
