Elegant Sapphire and Gold Cufflinks

As with all fine jewels, you should closely examine the backs of cufflinks.  The backs of these cufflinks are beautifully crafted in 14kt yellow gold.  Note the maker's attention to detail in the sturdy quad brackets that protect the rear of the sapphires and strong cross bars that secure the cufflinks on your cuff.

These cufflinks were created by Carter, Gough & Company, makers of fine gold and platinum jewelry during the first decades of the 20th century.  The maker's mark of Carter, Gough is an arrowhead surrounding a small "C".  The arrowhead is stamped just to the right of the precious metal mark ("14K") on the cross bar of each cufflink.
