Roses and Garlands II

Elegant gold centers with finely engraved roses and garlands on a background of streaming sun-like rays.  Platinum borders with Art Deco sunrise and lotus motifs surround the radiant centers.  These richly detailed cufflinks were crafted in 14kt gold and platinum circa 1925.

The gold backs of the cufflinks were crafted as carefully as the fronts.  Sturdy strap brackets and cross bars secure the cufflinks on the cuff.  The backs are polished to a smooth, bright finish - please excuse the shadowy reflections from the camera.

The cross bars are stamped with "PLON14K" indicating that
the cufflinks were crafted with platinum laid over 14kt gold.
