Art Deco Gold CufflinksArt Deco Radiance! |
Jazzy Art Deco cufflinks with beautifully
engraved white gold centers surrounded by yellow gold borders
embellished with an elegant scroll design. The yellow gold
borders have a rich antique patina that contrasts beautifully
with the radiant centers. Created by United Jewelers in
14kt gold, circa 1925.
The backs of the cufflinks are well crafted and polished to a bright finish. Note the sturdy cross bars that secure these double-sided cufflinks on the cuff. The maker's attention to detail and passion for quality is evident. (Please excuse the dark reflections from my camera.)
The maker's mark of United Jewelers ("HALLMARK") is stamped on the cross bars. United Jewelers was an association of retail jewelers based in New York City that created fine cufflinks and other jewelry during the 1920s and 1930s. The opposite sides of the cross bars are stamped "14K" for the purity of the gold.
