Antique Gold CufflinksGarlands and Swags! |
Exuberant two-tone cufflinks from the 1920s. The yellow gold centers feature classic garlands and swags and are surrounded by white gold borders with a bold geometric design. Crafted in 14kt gold, circa 1925.
The backs are crafted in 14kt yellow gold and polished to a mirror-like finish. (Please excuse the dark spots which are reflections from the camera.) The cufflinks are well constructed with sturdy cross bars and four-footed brackets.
The cross bars are stamped with the maker's mark for Wordley, Allsopp and Bliss ("WAB"), a maker of fine jewelry and cufflinks during the early decades of the last century. Beneath the maker's mark is the precious metal mark for 14kt gold ("14K").
